About me
My name is Finbarr Taylor and I am a computer science student in my 3rd year at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. I am working towards a 5 year mEng degree in Computer Science with Business and Law. I have been working with computers for years, with particular interests in the internet. Over the years I have become proficient with HTML and CSS; the tools of the trade in web design. Further interests
In terms of computing; I have experience of, and I am interested in, many areas. I will be carrying out research in summer 08 relating to predictive text on mobile phones, with a view to making texting easier by means of tactile feedback. I am a Linux user and my preferred distrobution is Ubuntu. Ubuntu Linux is an alternative, and far superior, operating system. I am involved in Domain speculation and brokering.
Outwith the computing world I am a keen sportsman and enjoy badminton, cycling, watersports and martial arts. I also like cinema, music and good food.
